Hello all,

We have been very busy with events this year and are enjoying being back together. Rush is over now, and we have 9 new members. The pledge class will be closing this weekend. Last night we had our empathy dinner and Hector Martinez stopped by. It was a great time and was very successful.

The weekend of October 15th and 16th is our Alumni Weekend. Saturday, we will be attending the Bradley soccer game as a house, and we'll be grilling beforehand. The soccer game starts at 6, and the cost is only $6 for alumni.
A few people will be attending Jay Leno Saturday night, tickets are available for anyone who wants, but traditional night festivities will also occur for all who wish to participate.
Alumni Weekend is a great chance for anyone who wants to meet the new guys and come hang out at the house. Any questions email me at gevans@mail.bradley.edu

Hello Brothers,
As this school year approaches we are excited to return and see everyone again. This summer Bradley has done some work on the house. They added a sprinkler system, painting over all of our murals :( , and other such repairs on the old place. This Saturday and Sunday we will be moving in and beginning work week projects which have yet to be determined, relying on what Bradley has done.
As the school year commences I will add updates but this is a preliminary Calendar of this falls first events:

August 21 - Move in and block party will kick off welcome week for the incoming freshman, and we will be hosting several events to help us meet perspective members.

September 4th and 5th are the first rounds of rush. The following week (September 11 and 12 ) will wrap up rush, and reward us with several good gentlemen if all goes well. Everyone is invited to all rounds of rush, Contact other alumni and bring them and hang out meet perspectives and enjoy college life again.

9/23 we will host an empathy dinner on behalf of Push America. We would love to have the support of as many people as we can, aid us in being the best on campus by supporting our philanthropy events!

Hello brothers and friends of Epsilon Mu! Spring Break has come and passed, and everyone is ready to hit the ground running and finish the semester strongly. Spring '10 has proved to be an exciting time thus far, but there are still more fun events to come!

Spring Rush was a great success, and the chapter welcomed four associate members into the Beta Theta Class! Matt Maser, Matt Thomas, Joe Alwan, and Roland Batrouni have all been working hard towards their initiation, learning how the chapter functions and getting to know the active members. They will soon be working on a plege class project and planning a social event.

Pledge Dad Night took place on the Wednesday before Spring Break, and the new guys were estatic to find out who their Pledge Dads were...

Associate Member Matt Thomas with Pledge Dad Marcus Cole

Associate Member Roland Batrouni with Pledge Dad Colin Willoughby

Associate Member Joe Alwan with Pledge Dad Seth Alwan

Associate Member Matt Maser with Pledge Dad Josh Strupeck

Earlier in the semester, during the weekend of February 26th, the chapter celebrated its 28th year of brotherhood, with some Founder's Day Weekend activities. Around 2o of the chapter's alumni came back to Peoria to socialize at the house, go to a dinner at Rhythm Kitchen, and attend a luncheon at Peoria Theatre. Everyone had a great time reconnecting and meeting new people! Thanks to all who attended the festivities!

As the chapter continues its support for Push America, a group of guys will be going up to the Chicago suburbs this coming weekend, March 27th, to hold the biannual Toll Roads fundraiser. Members of the chapter will be collecting money for Push America from around 10AM to 2PM, at the intersection of Higgins and Roselle in the Hoffman Estates Community. Any alumni and friends who will be in the Chicagoland area during that time are invited to come say "Hi," and help support Pi Kappa Phi's national philanthropic organization!

Hello brothers and friends of Epsilon Mu! A new semester has arrived, and the chapter is looking to make an even greater impact not only in the Greek community, but on Bradley University's campus and in the Peoria community. Before we left for winter break, many events took place that are going to help shape our chapter as we move forward.
First of all, the Beta Eta class wrapped up their pledge semester. After taking part in two very successful Push America eventst\, hosting an exciting Monopoly party, and building a beautiful kitchen table, they were found worthy of initiation by the active chapter.

On Friday, November 20, 2009, the following associate members were initiated into the Epsilon Mu Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity:

#456-Josh Strupeck
#457-Seth Alwan

#459-Chris Honnert

Congratulations to these new actives! They are sure to bring new perspectives and leadership to the chapter.

Up next for the chapter will be Spring Rush. Vice Archon, Aaron Signer, is planning a number of fun events, at which non-Greek guys can meet the chapter and hopefully get a bid to join the Beta Theta Pledge Class. The actual Rush/Bid Day will be Saturday, February 6, 2010. We are looking forward to finding new associate members that will help build our chapter into an even stronger brotherhood!
