Toll Roads

Toll roads, which was on Saturday October 3rd, was highly successful this year thanks to all the hard work from Greg Evans, current Push Chair, and all of the associate members. Over $1200 total was raised because of their efforts.

Pledge Dad Night

Our three associate members celebrated pledge dad night and were matched up with their respective pledge dad night. Corey Greenstein went with Brian Kroeter, Dakota Kuhlman with Alex Keating, Nick Popravak with Greg Evans. The three new guys also participated in their first PUSH America event as they did their first toll roads last weekend. Final figures are still being taken in, but the final sum is estimated to be around $1,000. Weather shortened the amount of time spent in on the street, but for the people who went the amount collected was a good amount. New member education continues to go well as the new members study the White Diamond and learn about the foundations of the fraternity.

Rose Ball

I'd like to clear up some confusion concerning this semester's Rose Ball. I've had some complications with getting all the aspect of the event together, but I have now gotten most of the bigger pieces aligned. Firstly, alumni are invited and most certainly encouraged to attend the event, which will be on April 18th at the Pere Marquette and run from 6 - midnight. Transportation for the affair will be limos there and taxis returning and menu selections for the dinner will be chicken, pork or vegetarian. Sorry for the lateness of the notification, but all that's left preparation is wise is the invitations which I am contacting nationals about this week. Prices for alumni are still being configured and as soon as they are, they will be published.

Beta Zeta Pledge Class Shapes Up

Spring Rush was held this last weekend and five bids to become part of the tradition of the Epsilon Mu brotherhood were Accepted. The five new associate members of the Beta Zeta pledge class are:
1. Corey Greenstein
2. Patrick Brand
3. Dakota Kuhlman
4. Michael Kittleson
5. Nick Popravak
New member education begins tonight under the guidance of new warden Kyle Campoli.

The Empathy Dinner was held February 12th, which as always gave those in attendance the opportunity to donate money to PUSH America and also see life from the vantage point of those their money was being collected for. The event was chaired by PUSH America Chair Sam Schumacher and brought in $226 for the organization.

The Epsilon Mu Chapter is also hosting a Rose Ball on April 18th at the Hotel Pere Marquette downtown for both active and alumni members. Invitations are being designed currently and will be in the mail by the end of this week.
